    This was a bust and reflects badly on the Festival. We were on line at 10 sharp for 2 tickets and got blocked out by the large ticket brokers buying in bulk for resale at inflated prices. It doesn’t bode well for the festival when the ticket brokers like stubhub and aaatix start controlling all the tickets. The ordinary fan that likes to hear good music is the one getting squeezed. Maybe we’ll look at Bonaroo or the Bama Jam. Plenty of other options out there. Wise up Hangout before you let the gouging and the almighty dollar kill a good thing.

      I’m guessing it’s the same tiered pricing as Bonnaroo. First tickets they sell will be Advanced at the cheaper price, and when they sell out of those they’ll open up the ones priced at the Regular tier. If you want to get the Advance price, you should be ready at 10 a.m. CT to try to purchase them.

    Best thing to do is check VRBO.com and find a condo within about a mile of The Hangout Festival (it’s at the junction of Hwy 59 and Hwy 182). You can generally book one that sleeps 4-6 people for anywhere from $1000 – $1800 for five nights (some condos require a 5-night min for this week, but others don’t so it could be cheaper). This will be my first year going to this festival, but based on what I’ve read about transportation to/from the fest being a nightmare I booked a condo within walking distance.

I bought them for $260 each (after fees), so I’m going to sell them for that much, but I’ll do payment plans if you’re worried about tickets selling out. We can do it over regular mail or through PayPal if you don’t trust it, I realize a lot of people scam so it’s understandable if you’re skeptical.
