Hangout is a three day festival on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. It's a place to gather your group of friends, throw on your favorite bathing suit and hit the beach for some sun, fun, and a great time.

General Info

  • All ages welcome. 17 and under must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult over the age of 21.
  • Children aged 5 and under are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket holding parent or guardian. Due to safety concerns, we cannot admit more than 2 children per supervising parent or guardian.
  • Show will take place rain or shine.
  • Lineup and schedule subject to change.
  • Re-entry allowed all weekend long for 3-Day weekend wristband holders (must be untampered, secured wristband.)

Health & Safety

The event shall be presented in accordance with applicable public health conditions as of the date of the event and which may change at any time as determined by federal, state or local government agencies or instrumentalities, artists or the promoter; such requirements may include, without limitation, changes to capacity, attendance procedures and entry requirements, such as proof of vaccination and/or negative COVID-19 test, and other protective measures such as requiring attendees to wear face coverings. If any ticket holder does not comply with any laws, mandates, health orders or directives, promoter or event terms, conditions or rules, then the promoter or event operator may refuse admission to the event or require the ticket holder to leave the venue and such ticket holder will not be entitled to a refund.

COVID-19 WARNING
COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to COVID-19.

ATTENDEE PROMISE & HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
All attendees agree to follow festival policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the festival. According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend the festival. By entering the festival, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that they will adhere to local quarantine mandates and the CDC quarantine requirements, available HERE.

Fly: The Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is just 45 minutes from Gulf Shores and the festival. The airport offers direct non-stop service to and from Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Tampa, and Washington, DC.

The Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is 1.5 hours away and offers direct flights to and from Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Houston.

    The following conditions are for guests entering the venue:

    • All guests must have an official Hangout wristband worn on their wrist.
    • All guests and their belongings are subject to search.
    • Any prohibited item that is surrendered to security at search points will not be returned.
    • Allowed and prohibited lists are subject to change.
    • No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed in or around the venue.
    • Hangout Music Festival and private security personnel at the entrances reserve the right to make the final determination on allowed and non-­allowed items.
  • Can I volunteer in exchange for a ticket to the festival?

    We will not be hosting a volunteer program for the 2023 festival, but thanks for your interest.

  • Do kids get in free?

  • Can we boat to the festival?

    Due to safety concerns we have an enforced 500 ft NO ­BOATING ZONE off the Hangout site. However there are miles of beautiful open waters around the site for your boating pleasure.

    Reasonably priced food (including vegetarian/vegan options) and drinks will be available on site. More information about the food vendors and options will be released prior to the festival. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

  • There are a lot of artists on the lineup. Will I see all of them perform?

    There is no guarantee you will see all of the artists on the lineup. Many artists will be performing at the same time and some areas will have limited capacities. You should plan accordingly and arrive early if there is a particular performer you really want to see. Also, the lineup is always subject to change (due to weather or any other reason).

  • What type of tickets are available?

    Admission tickets will be sold at each price level tier that allotment is gone, at which time the price will move to the next price level.

    General Admission: Enjoy all three days of the festival, the beach and the entire lineup.

    GA Plus: Includes all the amenities of a GA ticket plus access to GA PLUS Grove with private air conditioned restrooms, premium food offerings, and shaded areas to relax, and priority GA PLUS entrances at all festival gates.

    VIP: Includes all the amenities of a GA ticket plus enjoy VIP Viewing areas, side stage swimming pools at the Hangout Main Stage, private air­-conditioned restrooms, complimentary snacks and beverages plus priority VIP entrances.

    Super VIP: All the access of a VIP ticket with added comfort and service, including meals prepared by acclaimed chefs, a spectacular elevated view of the Hangout Main Stage, hot tubs, concierge services and on-site golf cart transportation.

    Big Kahuna: For all Big Kahuna inquiries please email bigkahuna@hangoutmusicfest.com. Availability is very limited.

  • Is there a payment plan for tickets?

    Yes, you can divide your order into a maximum of five easy payments with Hangout Music Fest Payment Plans.

    Choose $50 down, 25% down, 33% down or 50% down. Your cart value must exceed $299 for the order to be eligible for a payment plan. Payment plans are available for GA, GA PLUS, VIP, and SUPER VIP passes. Payment plans are not available for BIG KAHUNA passes.

    In order to use the payment plan, select payment plan at checkout. Subsequent payments will be automatically charged using the original form of payment. There is a $8 - $20 fee to use payment plans on top of standard service fees. You will have a 10-day grace period to pay. If payment is not received by the 10th day after the initial charge is run, your order will be canceled. Defaulting on payments will result in cancellation of your order and a $50 restocking fee. No exceptions.

  • I bought a ticket, when will I receive my wristband?

    Wristbands will ship to ticket buyers in April 2023.

    Orders unable to be delivered will not be shipped twice under any circumstances and will be available for pickup at will call. The original purchaser or person who activated the wristband, a photo ID, and the credit card used for purchase or activation are required for Will Call pickup or assistance at the box office. International orders will be shipped for an additional fee.

  • I don't know where I'm staying yet, can I still buy a Shuttle Pass?

    Yes! We highly encourage you to purchase a shuttle pass in advance even if you don’t know where you’re staying yet. With our ride any line, anytime shuttle pass, you won’t have to worry about choosing a specific shuttle line.

    *Beach Club Line is for registered guests only.

  • Can I take my wristband off?

    Wristbands cannot be removed and must be worn all three days for entry into the festival.

    Please don’t remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will be denied entry.

  • I lost my wristband. Now what?

    Wristbands are non-­transferable, non­-exchangeable and cannot be replaced.

  • There are tickets available on Ebay, Facebook or Craigslist, should I buy them?

    We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any third party reseller. Each year hundreds of our amazing fans get tricked into buying a wristband or print at home tickets from Craigslist, Facebook, or ticket broker sites like VividSeats or SeatGeek. Unfortunately, many of these are already used and/or are counterfeits.
