Hangout is a more than a three-day festival on the white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, AL. Hangout is the ultimate kick off to summer, where quintessential beach vacation meets high end music festival. Kick back and relax with your toes in the sand, hang loose with all of your friends, while listening to your favorite music and making memories that last a lifetime.

  • Re-entry allowed all weekend long for 3-Day weekend wristband holders (must be untampered, secured wristband).

In the event of an emergency, information may be relayed on the video screens, over the audio system, and/or through mobile notifications via the festival app.

COVID-19 WARNING

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. There is an inherent and elevated risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place or place where people are present and there is no guarantee, express or implied, that those attending the festival will not be exposed to COVID-19.

ATTENDEE PROMISE & HEALTH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

All attendees agree to follow festival policies (including health and safety policies) and posted instructions while at the festival. According to the CDC, older adults and people of all ages with serious underlying medical conditions may be at higher risk of death or severe illness from COVID-19. All attendees should evaluate their risk in determining whether to attend the festival. By entering the festival, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that they will adhere to local quarantine mandates and the CDC quarantine requirements, available HERE.

CATCH A DIRECT FLIGHT

Fly: The Pensacola International Airport (PNS) is just 45 minutes from Gulf Shores and the festival. The airport offers direct non-stop service to and from Atlanta, Austin, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Houston, Kansas City, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Tampa, and Washington, DC.

The Mobile Regional Airport (MOB) is 1.5 hours away and offers direct flights to and from Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas and Houston.

  • What are the entry requirements for guests?

    The following conditions are for guests entering the venue:

    • All guests must have an official Hangout wristband worn on their wrist.
    • All guests and their belongings are subject to search.
    • Any prohibited item that is surrendered to security at search points will not be returned.
    • Allowed and prohibited lists are subject to change.
    • No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed in or around the venue.
    • Hangout Music Festival and private security personnel at the entrances reserve the right to make the final determination on allowed and non-­allowed items.
  • Do kids get in free?

    Children aged 5 and under are admitted FREE if accompanied by a ticket holding adult. Due to safety concerns, we cannot admit more than 2 children per supervising adult. Anyone under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.

  • What time does Hangout start each day?

    Hangout is an all-day event. In previous years, gates have opened at 11 AM, with music starting at noon. 2024 hours are coming soon!

  • Is there parking at the festival?

    Hangout does not operate a public parking lot and parking is extremely limited around the festival site. We suggest purchasing a Shuttle Pass to get to and from the festival. The shuttles stop near most of the condo and hotel options in the area and there are also locations where you can park your vehicle and catch a shuttle to the festival.

  • Can I volunteer in exchange for a ticket to the festival?

    We will not be hosting a volunteer program for the 2024 festival, but thanks for your interest. However, we’d love to work with you! Hangout Fest employment opportunities are available here.

  • Does Hangout offer a Military or First Responders discount on tickets?

  • Is Hangout a cashless event?

    Yes, Hangout 2024 is a cashless festival.

    ACCEPTED CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS:
    Any US-issued and most internationally-issued mag stripe or chip cards bearing a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB or UnionPay logo.

    Due to safety concerns we have an enforced 500 FT NO ­BOATING ZONE off the Hangout site. However there are miles of beautiful open waters around the site for your boating pleasure.

  • There are always a lot of artists on the lineup. Will I see all of them perform?

    There is no guarantee you will see all of the artists on the lineup. Many artists will be performing at the same time and some areas will have limited capacities. You should plan accordingly and arrive early if there is a particular performer you really want to see. Also, the lineup is always subject to change (due to weather or any other reason).

  • What are the Lodging Packages all about?

  • Are payment plans available for Beach Vacation Packages?

    Choose a 50/50 payment plan at checkout to put 50% down at checkout, and pay off the remaining 50% on December 31, 2023 (2 payments total). Available until Dec 15, 2023.

  • Help! I’ve got my tickets, but need a place to stay. What should I do?

  • Can I bring a backpack?

    Clear backpacks no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” are allowed in the venue. All bags will be thoroughly checked.

  • Can I bring food inside the festival?

    Reasonably priced food (including vegetarian/vegan options) and drinks will be available on site. More information about the food vendors and options will be released prior to the festival. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

    You will see your order in your Fan Account once you have completed the check out. Your AXS order confirmation will have your ticket delivery details.

    Klarna will send an email confirmation for all completed payments. You can also call 1-844-4KLARNA (1-844-455-2762) or live chat with Klarna’s customer service agents 24/7 to confirm payment.

  • Which payment methods are accepted by Klarna?

    Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, Discover). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

  • I bought a ticket, when will I receive my wristband?

    Wristbands will begin shipping in early April.

    Orders unable to be delivered will not be shipped twice under any circumstances and will be available for pickup at will call. The original purchaser or person who activated the wristband, a photo ID, and the credit card used for purchase or activation are required for Will Call pickup or assistance at the box office. International orders will be shipped for an additional fee.

  • There are tickets available on Ebay, Facebook or Craigslist, should I buy them?

    We strongly advise against purchasing tickets from any third party reseller. Unfortunately, many of these are already used and/or are counterfeits.

*Guidelines for CamelBak style hydration systems: Although SINGLE POCKET CamelBak style water bladder systems are allowed EMPTY into the venue, the water bladders themselves must be capable of being removed from the carrier and must be transparent enough to allow security to visually inspect the empty bladder. Additionally, CamelBak style bladder carriers must have no more than ONE pocket in addition to the compartment that hold the water bladder. Any CamelBak style water bladders that cannot be removed from the carrier and/or is opaque enough to prevent visual inspection will not be allowed into the festival. Any CamelBak­ style bladder carriers larger than the permitted size will not be allowed into the festival.

**Guidelines for prescription and OTC medications: Prescription medications are allowed only in the original prescription bottle, any person attempting to bring in prescription medication must have a government­ issued photo identification card that matches the name printed on the prescription, and the pills in the bottle must match the description printed on the prescription. You will only be allowed to carry the dosage of prescription medication required for the duration of each individual Event date. Over-­the-­counter medications are allowed provided that they are new and in the original, factory-sealed container.
