Handicapped accessibility questions

I've recently broken my ankle and I'm trying to decide if it is realistic to attend Hangout. I have some questions.

1) Is there handicapped parking?

2) The map shows exactly one ADA Viewing area. Does every stage have one or is it limited to just the main stage?

3) Considering the terrain, which is best: a wheelchair, crutches, or a walker?

4) Are there something like golf carts for hire?

Any help/opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I also have broken my ankle and severely dislocated my shoulder and have the same questions about viewing the performances, especially from the Chevrolet Stage. Is there really only 1 handicap viewing area, and only for that one stage? My girlfriend and I payed $800 for 2 tickets and would like to still have a decent view for the Flaming Lips (they are my favorite band), or any view at all for that matter.

I have already emailed Hangout multiple times regarding this matter and have yet to receive a reply.

I look forward to hearing back from you as quickly as possible, the festival is getting nearer everyday.

Thank you.

Sorry for the delay.

Please keep in mind, you will need a state issued handicapped parking pass for the parking as far as I know.  CID told me they can arrange the shuttles for handicapped if you can get on or be helped on to the shuttles standing, they dont have wheelchair lifts.

1) Is there handicapped parking? Yes, Next to Alvin's Island.  New maps coming soon.

2) The map shows exactly one ADA Viewing area. Does every stage have one or is it limited to just the main stage?  I think the 4 big stages do.  We are finalizing this now and again, new maps will be coming.

3) Considering the terrain, which is best: a wheelchair, crutches, or a walker? Crutches

4) Are there something like golf carts for hire? No

so, 2 stages are on cement and should not need ADA areas, you should be able to just get to them… both stages in the sand now have ada areas:

Will we be able to bring chairs into the ADA viewing areas or will chairs be provided?
