just wondering if anyone went last year while prego or if theres anyone else going this year. I'll be right at 7 months but our condo is literally right next to the venue, so if it gets too uncomfortable i can easily just go chill there. i just want to know if anyone has tips or ideas as to what i can do.

thanks Cool

It gets super hot.  Make sure you have plenty of water and you should be good.  Lots of walking even if you're close by, just take your time, you can always plop down in the sand for a few and get some rest if you get tired out.

Not able to dance while pregnant? Hogwash young Reid, you must be a guy. Not everyone drinks to begin with so that's not the biggest deal either, it's all about the music anyway, right? Mayra, in regard to your question about attending Hangout pregnant, I went last year (not pregnant) & am going again this year pregnant but I'll only be 14 weeks at that point. If the weather is anything like last year, it is quite warm during the day, mainly due to the intense sun. There wasn't much shade available last year but the grounds have been expanded & changed for this year so I'm hoping for a bit more. Water stations were scarce last year as well but are supposed to be more plentiful this year, I'm bringing a plastic refillable one & hoping it will be easier to get free water, buying it at the fest is expensive & of course wasteful with all the extra plastic. We're staying right next to the festival too so I know I can head back to the condo & rest in the AC if I need to & go back when I'm ready. We were 5 miles away last year which was difficult because we had to shuttle back & forth everyday which took an hour at least, once we went in we were there for the whole day into the night, they were pretty long days. I saw several very pregnant ladies last year & they seemed to be digging the experience, I'm sure you will too, have a great time!

I wasn't pregnant last year and I'm not pregnant this year, so I have no first-hand experience. However, I saw several pregnant ladies last year and they seemed to be having a blast.

I gave up my seat inside the Hangout for one of the pregnant ladies. She said that she learned quickly that her best bet was to come inside the Hangout (seats, shade and A/C) and order a non-alcoholic beverage and an extra cup of ice. Apparently, the heat really got to her in her condition.

All of this advice is good IMHO and if your doctors agree you are healthy then you will be great.  People have an extra special way pf making sure pregnant women get everything they need at an event like this…

My wife hates this pic but here she is 20' from the stacks (the doctors swore up and down it was fine) for Eminem/Jay-Z home and home… she is in the wheel chair because she was 9 mos and delivered one week later.. she could have walked but standing on the floor that long would have been impossible.

Pay attention to the baby and you will feel him or her bounce to the music, I could feel my son doing it for almost the whole show. :)

lol

This is her being pregnant at a Furthur show.  I think 7 mos?

Here he is rocking out Chi Caravan:

…. SO now that I hijacked your thread… if you need anything while you are there I am rolling with momma bear and our nanny/mother of 4.  I sent you a message.

I saw a couple of pregnant women last year, though mostly in the VIP area. I would suggest drinking a LOT of water and wearing as little as you can. ;) It's hot. I delivered in June with my daughter and went to a festival about two weeks before…having a place to sit helped, so maybe spend a lot of time on the hammocks?
