I keep seeing condos for Orange Beach, the Gulf Shores, and  Ft. Morgan…is Orange Beach/Ft. Morgan really that far of a walk to the actual event?

There are plenty available still within 2 miles. Just check out some of the local realty groups. My wife and I went last year and are returning this year.. Every local I spoke with was and currently are hyped that the festival is returning. Talk to Elizabeth or Barney at http://www.meyerre.com. They hooked us up with a sweet place. Plus have tickets for purchase without service fees if you book with them. Mention you heard it from the guy who booked and bought tickets while his wife was in labor!!!

Watch out HOF2012——LG is on her way!

I just found out that Kaiser Realty has rooms available in Orange Beach and Fort Morgan.  It is a longer walk, but there are more shuttles than ever this year, so getting to and from the festival grounds, no matter where you are staying, should be seamless.

Check out their website here: http://www.KaiserRealty.com/Hangout

You can even buy your tickets when you book your room. We did this last year, and getting to use their concierge ticket service was totally worth it.

It looks like their ticket prices haven't gone up either, so they are still selling them at 194.

My girlfriend and I spent about 6 hours looking through separate listings for condos online. We found one at the Seacrest for 3 nights during hangout, which is 1.5 miles (30 minute walk) away, for $501 including taxes and fees! I would say try to contact condo owners directly instead of using an agent if possible. We saved atleast $300-$500. Good luck and see you guys there! Cool

Check out this site http://www.meaningfulvacation……labama.php

Just booked a room with gulf view 2 bed 2 bath 3.5 miles away. 15min bike ride and second trolley stop to the west from the stages for around $200/night.  Could have gotten a room with out a view for around $160/night.  There is still stuff available relatively close for a decent price right on the beach you just have to look around.  Also sometimes calling and talking to a person helps b/c the room I got was listed on line as sold out.
