There should of been a warning with the wristband regarding the fact that you can't take them off. Once again, the people overseeing (Happy now Missinout?) the festival have let us down. How can we remove them? Can we get a new one at the gate?

Whaaaaat?! hahahahahahahaha
What event/place with wristbands have you ever been to that allowed you to take them off? That is the PURPOSE of the wristband!
The people overseeing (that's how you say that by the way) the festival have not let us down. You have let us festival goers down with your ridiculous complaint.

I lurk around this board every few days to see if there are any exciting new developments with the festival, but am often greeted with posts like this.
Sucks that you weren't quite patient enough to wait until the weekend of to put on your ticket. I'm sorry, but your stupidity is no reason to sit here and bash the promotors/organizers of this festival, who have worked hard in hopes that folks like you and I will have a blast. Just because there is a perforated edge between the stub and counterfoil of the tickets to the baseball game I'm seeing tonight doesn't mean I'm going to rip the ticket. Moreover, if I did rip it, I sure as heck wouldn't blame the team about it.
Man up, take responsibility for your own moments of stupidity. We all have them. If you came here to warn others not to make the same mistake you did, do it; but don't come here and whine because you, in your infinite wisdom, did something you regret.
Sorry to bring bad vibes friends, but sheeeeesh, sick of the complainers! We are about to have an elite weekend in 2 weeks!
Thanks Hangout!! Love you guys!

Some of us have not been privileged enough to attend any festivals or events like this. All i saw was a wrist band, and i put it on my wrist to check it out. I was excited. I'm sorry for that. These bracelets cannot be compared to ticket stubs. It is not clear that the wristbands only slide in one direction.

dude, its nobodies fault but your own that you put your wristband on without checking if it was okay or not. you wouldn't rip off part of the ticket stub before you got to the gate, so why would you think it was okay to put on a wristband? same principal.
the moderators of this festival have seriously stepped their game up and had you asked Kangfirmed would have answered you shortly, or heck of he didn't a quick google search would suffice!
I've never been to a festival like hangout but I know not to put on the wristband, I'm sorry you're mad bro but don't shift blame onto someone else. hopefully they'll still let you in, but please leave the bad vibes at the door!
peace, friends

I acknowledge that it was stupid to put it on. But i still don't understand why the only info i get about the ticket is a little box on the map. I guarantee you that I'm not the only one.

If you have never had the opportunity to attend a festival like this how can you jump to the conclusion that the promoters let you down?
This is a very standard practice, not just at festival, but concerts, sports games, resorts, etc.
You made a mistake, shit happens, just own up to it and I'm sure they would be happy to help you. Otherwise you have a nice little accessory to wear for a couple weeks. :)
I hope you have a great experience at the festival and see how much work these people do to make it wonderful for you.

Ok, i own up to it. I was exited, stupid, impatient, not informed, and from the way i've been attacked, i must be the dumbest person you have all ever met. So can i please get some help now? Is there a number i can call? Will i be completely denied entry if my wristband is not pristine when i arrive? There is no way i can keep it in its current condition for 15 days.

My work environment will damage the wristband, and I also have a chemistry lab at college, and this will not be allowed and will definitely be destroyed by chemicals in there.

If your blood is not circulating hang up and call 911! :)
IF not contact who you got them from… usually…
For information about a specific ticket order, please emailsupport@fgtcustomerservice.com or call 888.512.SHOW. Visit the ticket section of the website for complete box office information and hours.

Guys, I'm sorry i was such a jerk about this. I was starting to panic, I've got a lab final coming up and a lot of lifting to do at work tomorrow. This wristband could get in the way of both of these things and would most likely be damaged. I'm a bit bipolar, no joke. Sorry.

Thanks for making internet amends, King. And you, Kangfirmed, thank you for playing the hero providing the necessary insights (per usual). The universe is now right again.
Good luck on your assessment tomorrow buddy.

It's cool man I'm an idiot right along with you. I put mine on because I thought it looked badass. But I made it too tight trying to get it off so I cut it after they told me I could wear it or go to The Hangout with proof of purchase and they will get me a new band but make sure you hold on to your RFID (The Yellow Thing).

If whatever the higher ups tell you doesn't work, I read a few days ago that a similar eager beaver managed to finagle it off with a paper clip and an hour or so of hard work. You can skim the boards to find this guy and PM him if you want specifics on his technique. Hope this helps.
