I'm all for you watching us sweat out last night's alcohol, if that's what floats your boat. Be warned, it isn't pretty. But you gotta detox to retox! Cool

im only counting 4 water fill stations…is that a big improvement? it seems lacking to me. i understand the desire for hangout to want us to spend money at the bars but hydration is key for long days at the beach

Honestly I don't really think they could have too many water stations.  Realistically, I'd like to see 10 but I understand why that would be difficult.

I agree, you can't have too many water stations.  The DMB caravan in Chicago was miserable last year, I waited in line for 50 minutes to fill 2 water bottles.  Filling those water bottles took 5-10 minutes since the pressure was very low in the refill stations.

DMB CHI was brutal.  There was so much pollution on that site though… the only water source was those machines or they needed tanker trucks.

The fraking moon rocks I kept breaking my toes on were far worse than the water.

Cant put pipes in the sand… so then you have to consider how many spigots are represented by each station, not just the  number of stations.  This math requires a bong.

I totally understand, It would be really difficult to put more water stations up and the logistics of constantly having to refill some sort of tank are mind bongling.

It's water though, us non vip's have a harder time getting some, not just water….lol

this all makes much more sense now, I hadn't taken the sand/pipe situation into consideration. I guess a good idea would be to have some big water jugs (like at kids soccer games, i dont know what the specific name is, but theyre always orange with a white top) on the corner of the bars so water is a little more frequent. I do understand that would be a bitch to keep full though.

All in all I am really excited and I think this is going to be an amazing festival, and I can't wait. Reguardless of the water, weather, ect its gonna be a great time

Kangfirmed- I appreciate you moderating the boards it's nice to have someone official on here with the answers

no problem, I will do anything I can to get the info people want.

I wish people could see before they show up how much thought and effort has gone into the experience for the attendees…  I really know you will like what has been done its just hard to convey on a mesage board.  Access, ammeneties, sound… I mean every aspect of this things is being stepped up.

I think that almost every concern from last year has been addressed and hopefully improved… and it will imporve again next year too.

For me, they could do this thing in a hurricane and I know it will be a good time.

Go phish has a good idea with the water coolers.  What if these were set up at the bars?  Since it is going to be hot and they will more than likely be in the sun, just add ice to them and let it melt.  The bars should be stocked with plenty of ice – at least my alcohol BEST BE COLD!  Wink
