So, I know we're all excited to find out who gets added to the lineup, so let's see who can guess 5 artists that will be added. My 5 are:
Deadmau5 (3rd boom boom headliner)
Levon Helm Band (old school rock representation)
Childish Gambino (need a popular rap influence)
Edward Sharp & TMZ (crowd favorite for midday)
Dr. John and Dan Auerbach Superjam (wild card)

The Head and the Heart
Sleigh Bells
Edward Sharpe & TMZ
Big Gigantic
Mumford & Sons
That's my 5….kinda skewed towards who I want to be added.

I was about to come in and make fun of that Mumford hope/prediction…but then I looked at their tour dates. It is certainly possible. Also, I don't see why they would come all the way here from UK to do only 3 shows. It doesn't even make sense.
As unlikely as it is, I hope they get added too.

That would be ahhhhmazing!
Awolnation has May open until the 28th…..and they are playing Cochella on 4/21. I would lose it if they showed up.

I'm with you on the Mumford and Sleigh Bells.
Would also love MuteMath,
Have Crash Kings played The Hangout yet? I would LOVE to see them. And Awolnation, Paper Tongues….maybe JJ Grey & Mofro.
Temper Trap! Looks like they will be in the US doing their North American tour, but only through March 30th. Doubt they will hand around another 6 weeks. Not sure if they even do festivals.
I could go on, but I need to get some work done! ha!

1. edward sharpe seems like a lock
2. head and the heart is also a good guess..
3. foster the people have dates open (with southern stops but not in bama and they are a perfect middle-to upper card band who would definitely benefit from playing a huge fest like this)
4. mumford and sons (although I feel like they are too big at this point for an already sold out festival to try and go after..but if we are basing this off of tour schedule alone then they have a solid shot, they also keep adding random festivals to their tour)
5. eddie…(I doubt it but last show in florida on may 17…cmonnn, gotta have a little hope)
possible???
Radiohead- although logistically it would work and they are already doing two weekends of coachella..but I just don't know if I can believe that Dave, RHCP and Radiohead would be at the same festival. I'm goona say no because that's just too good….
Shins- probably not but they do have all of May open basically and are already playing sasquatch and another fest I think, with no current south dates on their schedule…another middle to upper card band that is possible.
Mgmt- festival circuit already this summer..open dates then…looking to up their popularity again.
Modest Mouse- a band from seattle (allen stone, head and the heart?, DMB lives there, foo fighters) seems that this festival has a thing for pacific northwest bands and artists. a popular band that probably wouldn't cost too much $, possibly in time to roadtest some new album songs.
tell me what you guys think?

I'd love to see Modest Mouse on the beach. Shins would be awesome too.
I doubt Eddie is playing, I haven't read any kind of rumors stating the possibility…who knows though.

1.) Eddie Vedder
2.) Umphrey's McGee
3.) Fitz and the Tantrums
4.) Mumford and Sons
5.) The Head and the Heart
that's my predictions. i'd put money on at least two of them.

I don't know I was just saying at least two of those five will make it on the bill. That's my wishful thinking though. Those aren't even necessarily whom I would like to see the most, but that sounds pretty logical to me. I've heard a lot of rumors about Eddie Vedder; but you can't believe everything you hear. But I'd say Mumford and Fitz and the Tantrums. I know Umphrey's has an open date during hangout, but If I remember correctly (which I wasn't even there so just from reading) they were there last year.

NO GIRL TALK FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.
I found a solution to save $ and the waste of space for a real artist, I put my mac on stage with a few lights and play a mash up of other peoples songs on a playlist.
girl talk is haaarible
