We are regular festival goers with our kids – Bonnarroo, Coechella, Sierra and Sasquatch. Is Hangout a kid friendly festival or are we better to try and get grandma to look after them if we want to come? Our kids are young – 2 under 3 years

Are you saying you've brought them to those festivals? If they survived Bonnaroo they can survive Hangout, but I'd still leave them with Grandma for your own enjoyment's sake.

I don't have to tell you what goes on at festivals, but people are relatively discrete here…relatively being the key word. It's almost better that they are as young as they are instead of the curious ages of 8-10 where they would actually notice weird stuff going on around them, and ask you to explain what that is. But still, its hot at the beach and going back and forth to your lodging when cranky time kicks in could get old quick.

Yep. If you've taken them to Bonnaroo, then Hangout is fine. I found it less hot, less drugs, and less crowded. Although it did seem a little harder to find water. So make sure when you fill up, to get plenty.
