So I just noticed that Zoogma got yanked from the closing slot Thursday and put in on the kids stage (after the kid-related events are over) on Friday from 5:30-6:30, followed by Gravity A from 7:30-8:30. These previously empty slots have also been filled on the other days by MRP2 and Fort Atlantic on Saturday and Flannel Church and Space Capone on Sunday. I have yet to see any official announcement about these additions. Perhaps someone accidentally updated the schedule too early? If anyone has any info on this, I would be interested to hear what the deal is. Also, since Zoogma is now in the official lineup, who will take the closing slot on Thursday?

These changes have not been reflected in the overall lineup list (at least as of right now)

thoroughly displeased at this. why would they change a late night closing act on the bigger preparty stage and then put it on the damn kids stage in the middle of the day. it was a terrible decision by the management and should be moved back. unless they plan to add somebody better. it makes me mad that all of this ends at 1130 or 12 every night when they had giant afterparty shows last year. last year was unbelievable and i cant believe they got rid of it. upset but still cant wait!

The late nights were yanked by the city, not the management…not sure about Zoogma getting changed since it was going to be an indoors show…very weird and quite annoying.  Really was happy about one of the nights at least going late.

Maybe if eveeyone would relax they could step back and realize they dont get to see everything on a schedule and understand they dont know why things APPEAR as they are or why these changes are being made and show a shred a trust for the HOMF staff then maybe they would see clearly and realize not everything you see is an overt 2+2 equation.

Letting go…. put it all together.

The fact that they can't do late night is in no way Hangout's fault, and they have already stated that they are working on the city for next year. I think they are putting them on the "Kids Stage" just because there is nowhere else for them to play. The Kid related activities end around 5:00 if I am not mistaken, so why not take advantage of the extra room? I don't have a dog in the fight about late night on Thursday cause I wont be able to attend the Pre-Party anyways :P. Personally, I'm actually pretty excited that they are still adding artists and putting them on different stages because it will help to thin out the crowds a bit at the individual stages. @Kang, sorry, didn't mean to get everyone all worked up, I thought they news would be treated happily as a sort of sneak peak into bigger plans still being finalized. I am still quite interested to see how all of this plays out

As Willy said, it's the city, not the peeps in charge that got rid of the late night shows. From what I heard, it was no late night shows or NO Fest…so be happy with what we do have. I like the moving around, because I'm still hoping for some AWESOME surprises.

I don't see HOMF pulling the plug promptly at 11 each night. My experience from last year is they are pretty chill as far as time is concerned. If a headliner plays past "curfew", I would hope management will be too busy dancing to realize it.

I'm sure that the closers will go past 11 at least a bit.  I really am curious to see how many thousands of people will flock to the beach afterwards.  It'll probably be a pretty interesting scene.

That's our plan… head to the condo for a potty break and refreshments and hit the beach. Smile
