Am I the only one that's hoping to get an evening set of these guys? I've been obsessed with this band since the lineup was announced and really can't fucking wait to see them for the first time. However, from Iclips shows and youtube vids I've watched, it seems there shows thrive with the lightshows and night time elements.  Here's hoping we get a chance to experience this!

both have amazing light shows, but here's what I am really hoping for:

-considering SCI is doing two sets, how about making the first set right at sunset and the second later, giving the beauty of dusk to one set and the epic light show to the other. two entirely different animals, wrapped into one magnificent show

-have STS9 on the same stage immediately following, to continue the multidimensional light/sound experience. both bands share a lot of the same fans

considering ive seen both SCI and STS9 many, many times (all at night and with accompanying light shows), im dying for a sunset set from at least one of them as they are two of my favorite bands and that just sounds too epic

but maybe im in the minority…

Sunset set from SCI would be amazing, saw them in Berkely in 2007 and it was mostly during the day with little light show action and it was still an amazing show. They did a sunset show then and it kicked serious ass.

Everyone is in for a treat with two sets of cheese….FESTIVALLLLLL!!

saw them last summer for the first time and might i say that was one psychadelic light show. those guys shred. i really hope they do a night set so i can relive that moment. without those lights it just won't be the same. still badass though..

A dusk set is what I'm hoping for.  A nice mona bowa, shine, come as you are, best felling kinda set 1 into a trancy rosie, rivertrance, eye know why, etc second set.

Cheese on the beach on my Birthday is going to be epic.  Everything else is just icing on the cake.  Cool

Saw Cheese on my birthday at Bonnaroo last year. Epic to say

the least! Started around 1am and was complete with huge

inflatable T-Rex and a giant moth that flew out over

the crowd during  Miss Browns. Hopefully at least

one set of this show is at night.

I am really interested to see how they are going to place them

on Saturday with two sets and another headliner.

All shall be revealed soon I suppose.

I helped launch that giant red ball from the back of VIP at Rothy 09.  We thought "one cig and someone is going to die from a rubber slap" but it actually made it 15 minutes or so and no one was injured IIRC.

Cheese at the Rothy was epic, best show of my life.  They were on fire in the fall, and i bet they pick up right where they left off.  Plus playing on a beach, get outta here!

Roth 09 was my first incident and one of the best weekends of my life. The ball pit was amazing, I had no idea that ridiculous gigantic red ball was coming for us until it was gliding over our heads o_O Can we please bring back the ball pit for this beach incident? Im bringing a ton of inflatable things to toss up in that crowd but we could use some more giant beach balls for sure…

Croosfyr3,  looks like you got you sunset sets by STS9 and cheese you were asking for.  Looking good.

I'm thinking maybe a gary clark jr or greyboy allstar sit in if anything.  Sometimes I rather have my cheese all by itself though.

Only 15 more days Whoppie Doppiee!!!

My wish list:  Mona Bowa to start, Rivertrance second set, Rosie, Smile,  and a nasty Born on the wrong planet.

Phantasy setlist: Lester had a coconut opener

Rollover

Mauna Bowa

Round the wheel

Pirates

Good times around the bend

Obviously the boys are going to play Jellyfish, Were ARE on a beach ya know!

Would absolutely love to hear Barstool tossed in there, lay back with my girly and catch the magic in the sand.

Under african skies to pay homage to Paul Simon who ended the fest last year…… which if you saw it, you know how absolutely epic that show was.

I think Cheese and the Peppers should both do Higher ground and see who owns it more!!!! (I love Cheese with all my heart but personally the Peppers have been rocking it way longer and they got it under there belt)

What other sick beach jams could Cheese bust out?!? This has the potential to be the best show of the whole summer tour….. Cool The red hot chili cheese incident…….

yes sci76, it is looking like i got my sunset sets. and considering tribe was extended to a full two hours (9-11) and jack white is the only headliner I didn't really care about, I'd say everything is looking groovey. Cool

also, yea the thread has been getting cut off for me for a couple weeks now.

hoping for a mouna bowa, bumpin reel, desert dawn, eye know why, jellyfish, joyful sound, sand dollar, this must be the place (naive melody), and a valley of the jig
