I would suggest just going through on spotify or itunes or whatever you use and checking out all the different bands. I really like Sleeper Agent for easy listening, and they will be fun to kick off the weekend with.

On Friday, I sugest Alabama Shakes - the lead singer's voice is like Janis Joplin. Yellawolf is a rapper from Alabama, I believe. Also, Dawes – folky rock with good harmonies
Saturday has Gary Clark – sounds like Hendrix. Mac Miller is at the same time slot – R&B.
Sunday: Delta Spirit is decent rock. The Greyboy Allstars are uptempo jazz. Young the Giant and Cage the Elephant – alternative. I'm sure you've heard those two on the radio without realizing it.
I have a playlist on Spotify called "Hangout 2012" that's about 8 hours long. It is public, so feel free to search for that playlist and listen to some of the lesser knowns.

i saw paper diamond open for Big G a few months back, he was great. that dude straight up dropped beats from his ipad! some other good edm is zeds dead. as far as shpongle, super good, but i could probably tell you his set list right now. non edm music, g love for sure will be rad. dr dog is really good, and rebelution is a very fun reggae band, great for the hangout. Franti is always a great show, and on the beach, probably amazing.

Some of the lesser known acts we are excited about include…
Rich Aucoin: Electronic artist with band and he sings. Played a great late nite set inside the Hangout rest. last year. Sometimes crowd surfs on an actual surfboard. Really good stuff to get the day started
Givers: Solid Indie rock. We saw Arcade Fire enjoying their show last year at Bonnaroo also.
Gary Clark Jr.: Wonderful Old-school Blues musician. Go see this act.
The Lumineers: More good indie rock.
Delta Spirit: You should know them, but if you don't, they're high energy and perform very well. This will be a great setting. Again, Indie Rock.
Young the Giant: Soft on the albums, very loud live. This is one of the shows we are looking forward to most.
Alabama Shakes: One of the hottest tickets of the spring. Opening for Jack White in select cities. Bluesy, soulful rock'n'roll.
Others we are seeing that aren't headlining, in order of excitement: Edward Sharpe & the Magnetic Zeros, Gogol Bordello, Dawes, Futurebirds, Tribal Seeds, Heartless Bastards, Devil Makes Three, Hey Rosetta!
If you like current rock music…go see Dr. Dog if you've never seen them before. Same with M. Ward.
