Hey there fellow festival goers!

So I picked up a ticket to Hangout very last minute. I have found a group to catch a ride with, but their condo is already way over capacity.

I have a small two person tent, a hammock, and a sleeping bag. If there is some open space, I can make it work. I am a recent NC State graduate and I'm hitting as many music festivals as I can this summer. I am a very "go with the flow" kinda guy, and I am more than happy to pitch in on the cost of the campsite or condo/hotel.

I have a similar situation in reverse. I thought I had a spot in a condo, but due to some poor communication I do not. I am coming into town on Thursday for the kickoff event and will be leaving Monday morning, so I would love to rent the room or sofa Friday through Sunday.

I am a recent graduate from NC State University and I'm hitting a few music festivals this summer before starting work in earnest. I have a very "go with the flow" approach for these sorts of things. A friend and her boyfriend had to bail, so we now have an open room (and pull out sofa) available for Hangout Music Fest. Looking for fun, but (somewhat) responsible roommates to help split the cost of the apartment. It is two bedroom, two bathroom, on the ocean, balcony, and less than a mile walk from the festival. The building also has a pool.

First time at Hangout, but I've been to many festivals around the country. I am a photographer from NYC, we are mid twenties to early thirties.

Available Friday to Monday. If not staying the entire time, we can work out a nightly rate.

My brother, Will, is coming back home on May 15, he has been gone almost a year overseas. He just purchased tickets for us to enjoy the festival but we also need a place stay. I was lucky enough last year to find last minute accommodations on this forum. We are both soldiers; we are quiet, responsible and really laid back. Any suggestion or offers would be amazing. We are also seasoned campers if that's an option. Thanks in advance.

This is cool! How can a join? I'll just bring my ATM for the expenses. Whatever one would like to say about banks, they are at least steady if nothing else. Unlike the charges with ATM, unexpectedly going up so fast.

We were at Island Winds, which was right behind the main stage. We paid $270 a night, taxes included. Our unit was a 1 bedroom, but I'm sure there are units with more bedrooms if you need them.

There were a few kids partying on the beach after the shows, but we couldn't hear them from inside the condo.

Next year we'd like to avoid the shuttles. Where did you stay that was clean, nice and (relatively) affordable? We were 10 miles away in Orange Beach and while it was beautiful down there, we didn't really get to enjoy it because we were at the festival all weekend. It would be nice if it wasn't party central. We like to have a good time at the fest then lay our heads down to rest. Anyone have suggestions?

We were just informed by the state park officials that you are allowed one tent, no matter the size, per campsite. As well as a maximum of 8 people and no more than 2 vehicles.

This puts a damper on our party of 10, that has about 4-5 tents, and 4 cars.

Anyone know how heavily they in force these rules?

We can park the cars elsewhere, pile people in less tents, but we still have ten. I doubt they'll count the number of people.

Any insight from the Veterans?

Friend of mine said 1.5, but guess we'll see when we get there! The Captain sails a green on black two door jeep if you want to hook up and throw down.

Anyone else? Has to be more campin down there....too close not to!
